About Jeff Johnson:
Bailey Way Entertainment Inc: (BWE) was founded by Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Jeff Johnson in 2007. Our motto, “Aim To Inspire” captures the power of inspiring people through music.
Named after Johnson’s poet grandfather Rolph Bailey, BWE reflects the values of hard work, tenacity and determination despite all odds. BWE specializes in songwriting, production, artist development and education. Johnson states, “We collaborate with independent and signed artists looking to further develop their creative potential within the music industry.” BWE’s artist development results have been recognized globally.
BWE’s first major label signing was rock band Jet Black Stare who inked a deal with Universal Music Group’s Island Def Jam in New York City. The first single “Ready To Roll” co-produced and co-written by Jeff Johnson, became a sports anthem for Nascar, The Superbowl and the theme song for the 2009 Detroit Red Wing’s Stanley Cup Finals. Jet Black Stare was licensed to, Sons of Anarchy, WWE Wrestling, The Amazing Race, NASCAR video game and was featured in the 2010 Olympic Games.
BWE went on to produce and co-write the Much More Music #1 smash “You and I Tonight” for Faber Drive earning a Canadian Juno Nomination for Pop Album of the Year.
BWE and Hit Machine Music saw raw talent in unsigned artist Rick Dejesus now front man of international rock act Adelita’s Way. Their collaboration included producing and co-writing the cuts “Closer To You” and “One Night Stand” which caught the attention of Virgin Capitol and landed them a major label deal.
Recently, BWE has made a big impact in the country music scene writing songs “And then Some” for Dallas Smith, co-writing “Colour Blind” with Joey Moi and the Small Town Pistols and co-writing, producing, and signing, Wes Mack to Big Machine/Universal.
BWE produced and co-wrote Wes Mack’s smash hit “Duet” Ft Carly McKillip mixed by legendary Nickelback/Florida Georgia Line producer Joey Moi. “Duet” won Wes Mack 1st place out of 10,000 applicants in the USA songwriting competition Unsigned Only and won the CCMA Award for Discovery Artist of 2013. Currently “Duet” is featured on Country Hits 2013 compilation and is the Toronto Blue Jays “Country Night” theme song of 2014.
Recently BWE has collaborated with RGK Entertainment and Dan Swinimer on Madeline Merlot’s debut hit “Sinking Like a Stone”.
Look for upcoming collaborations and productions from Bailey Way Entertainment including Wes Mack, Austin Belle, Rod Black Band, The Chemical Cowboys, Cash Crawford and Son’s Of Daughters.
