06 August 2015- TORONTO, ON – Canadian country singer/songwriter, Wes Mack has set September 4 to release his full-length major label debut album Edge Of The Storm via Big Machine Canada/ Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Fans can preorder the record on itunes starting tomorrow, August 7 to receive the latest single “The Way You Let Me Down” as an instant grat track.

Wes has worked tirelessly over the past year, with co-writes on nine of twelve of the tracks on the record as well as directing the video for the Top 10 hit, “Before Your Drive Me Crazy”. Wes also had a hands-on on role in the studio, working alongside producer Micah Wilshire (Brett Eldrige) arranging the music for Edge Of The Storm.

Outside the studio and out of the director’s chair, Wes has travelled across Canada as the opening act on Shania Twain’s sold-out Rock This Country Canadian tour where fans not only caught his rockin’ set but also saw him share the stage with Shania for her smash hit, “Party For Two”. Due to the overwhelming response from crowds from West to East, Wes has been asked to continue opening for Shania on the second leg of her Canadian tour dates. In the meantime, Wes has been playing country festivals all summer including, Craven Country Music Fest, Cavendish Music Festival and this weekend’s Boots and Hearts Music Festival. Edge Of The Storm release week will see Wes travel across the country once more starting with a show on September 4 at Vancouver’s PNE to celebrate release day in his hometown. He will then travel across the country to celebrate Canadian Country Music Week in Halifax with his peers, kicking off the weekend at the Coors Banquet Kitchen Party on September 11. A weekend filled with many more appearances and activities, Wes will top it off with two nominations (Video Director of the Year Songwriter of the Year)
